More than a serving board, this is a piece of history reimagined.

Crafted from reclaimed Italian slate originally imported to New Zealand during the 1940s and 1950s, each board has lived a life before finding a new purpose. Carefully reclaimed from a Christchurch building, the natural beauty of the slate has been preserved, with every piece displaying its own unique colour, texture and character.

Every engraving begins as original artwork, designed exclusively by KJ Creations NZ and precision laser engraved in our Canterbury workshop. We don’t use stock images or downloaded designs—each piece is created in-house to produce something genuinely distinctive.

Finished with a food-safe finish, these boards are designed to be enjoyed. Perfect for serving cheese, antipasto, charcuterie, breads, desserts or your favourite BBQ feast, they are equally at home on the table or displayed as a piece of functional art between gatherings.
