Southern Cheese Rolls are one of those recipes.

A true Southern favourite, passed around families and made for generations. This is our own family recipe, engraved onto a bamboo serving paddle in an old-fashioned handwritten style — just like the recipes tucked away in well-used family cookbooks.

Simple ingredients, no unnecessary additions, and one very important final instruction:

Butter the Southern Sushi while hot.
